Drake’s “Certified Lover Boy” Album Smashes Record On Spotify

Canadian rapper and singer, Aubrey Drake Graham, better known as Drake, has Broken Swedish audio streaming and media platform, Spotify’s single day streaming records with his latest album, “Certified Lover Boy”.

The new millstone was made known by Spotify via their official Instagram page on Saturday, September 4, 2021.

Sharing a photo of Drake, Spotify wrote; “Certified Record Breaker 🤰”

The “God’s Plan” crooner also shared a photo showing Spotify congratulating him on being the “Certified Record Breaker”.

This is not the only record “Certified Lover Boy” has broken as Apple Music also revealed that the album’s 21 tracks have all taken their positions at the top of the charts

Taking to their Instagram page, Apple Music wrote;

@champagnepapi topped his own record. 🏆 #CertifiedLoverBoy is now the biggest album debut EVER on Apple Music, surpassing the record 6 God set with ‘Scorpion’ in 2018. #CLB

“Certified Lover Boy” is Drake’s sixth studio album. It was released on September 3, 2021, through OVO Sound and Republic Records and features guest appearances by Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Giveon, Jay-Z, Travis Scott, Future, Young Thug, Yebba, 21 Savage, Project Pat, Tems, Ty Dolla Sign, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross and Kid Cudi.
