The Nigerian street hawker, Salle who had gained popularity after singing beautifully in a viral video has been invited for an interview on Cable News Network (CNN) with Cristiane Amanpour.

This is coming after the upcoming artist took to her social media handle on popular microblogging platform, Twitter, to reveal that she got a call from popular Barbadian singer and actress, Rihanna.

“I got a call from Rihanna,” Salle wrote.

Reacting to her post, popular TV presenter, Christiane Amanpour described Salle as a star and an inspiration to many people all over the world.

She also invited the young hawker to tell her story on her television show.

“Salle, you’re a star and an inspiration to many all over the world,
Will you kindly accept an invitation to tell your story on my show?,”- Christiane wrote.

Nigerian music record labels, Chocolate city and Mavins records have also expressed their interest in signing the 17-years-old girl.
