Pete Edochie has sent an emotional tribute to Jerry John Rawlings as his final funeral rites continue in Ghana.

The late Former President of the Republic of Ghana, Jerry John Rawlings, died on Thursday, November 12, 2020, at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra, Ghana, where he was receiving treatment. He was a very good friend of Pete Edochie.

The Nigerian movie legend reacting to the final funeral rites of Jerry John Rawlings said death is inevitable to all humankind and he knows it’s only a separation of the body and soul. Adding that he will definitely meet him in the afterlife and continue his friendship with him.

My brother Jerry, your passing has reminded me once more that death is the ultimate destination of man…the spirit never dies. When my own spirit separates from my body, we shall meet again, we shall hug, we shall share our jokes. Until then, Goodbye Jerry, goodbye. He said.
